MEISSNER – Your system partner in all matters

Project Planning

You want to produce exactly the product that you want and that you have promised your customers. Meissner supports you in this! We know the many challenges involved. These are exactly what excite us. If you want individual and personal support, Meissner is the right partner for you. We are closely connected with our clients and our most important goal is to get the best possible for you.

We accompany your project from the very first idea: we take over planning and development for you, carry out tests, support you with the introduction and beyond that with further development and problem solving. In doing so, we are active in a wide range of business areas and also take on new challenges.

Take toolmaking, for example: here we plan completely new tools or further develop those you already have. At Meissner, we take a close look at which requirements your tool has to fulfil and how we can further optimise it. This is sometimes downright “detective work” to find all the starting points – and that’s exactly what we like to do.

We provide you with the results, which we work out in detail within the scope of your project, in a clear and descriptive manner. With the help of simulations, we present to you how your product is manufactured in an industrial environment and how changes to process parameters affect it.

If you wish, we can also advise you on how to optimise your product. During the process, you benefit directly from the expertise of our specialists, with whom you are in direct contact. So you can be sure that you can place your concern in the right place.

Another advantage of working with Meissner AG is our flexibility: we always adhere precisely to your specifications in the project. At the same time, you can rely on us to support you at all times with our sound advice.

À propos “reliance”: Reliability and mutual trust are particularly important to us in our cooperation. We are convinced that this is how the best results are achieved.

Construction

While there is a lot of talk and discussion about structural change, we at Meissner have long been helping to shape it. We were one of the first companies to accompany the construction of electric motors in the automotive industry. Our design engineers will be happy to support you in using your existing equipment for new products and thus meet current challenges.

We know that there are many different approaches and ways to achieve your goal. Every company has very individual systems and processes. New processes must always be integrated into the existing structure. Meissner AG has a valuable wealth of experience here, from which our customers benefit.

If you want to optimise the costs or cycle times of your production, we will help you to get the most out of it. If it makes sense and pays off for you, we will of course also use innovative technologies.

Our design engineers at Meissner analyse processes, provide assessments and create concepts. They coordinate closely with you and also advise on topics such as material or tool wear.

Welding

Benefit from our equipment and trained specialists in the field of welding!

At Meissner AG, we are also able to manufacture larger welded assemblies, such as the basic bodies of machines and systems. This is done in a specially equipped area. Please do not hesitate to contact us!

In addition, we offer repair work and maintenance for your components, for example for your foundry tools, as well as contour welding.

  • Repair and maintenance of components
  • Steel and plant construction
  • Spare parts production

Surface treatment

We also offer a wide range of services in this area: sandblasting, glass bead blasting, dry ice blasting and painting.

With sandblasting, we have the possibility to remove rust, dirt, paint residues and other impurities from larger components. The maximum dimensions are 4,000 mm x 2,800 mm x 2,800 mm. Meissner has a closed cabin with suction for this purpose. We use blast furnace slag as blasting material. Possible grain sizes are 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm and 0.3 mm to 0.8 mm, as well as others on request.

Dry ice blasting is a particularly gentle cleaning process. This also allows sensitive surfaces to be cleaned without risk, for example circuit boards. The dry ice particles turn into gas immediately after contact with the surface to be treated and evaporate. Meissner also has a separate cabin for this process, which can be used for large components. The maximum dimensions are 4,000 mm x 2,000 mm x 2,000 mm.

Treatment with glass bead blasting enables you to refine various surfaces and materials, for example of tools. We have a lot of experience in engraving core boxes, for example. The glass beads are finer than sand and have a grain size of 70 to 110 micrometres. At Meissner we offer a table size of 700 mm in diameter, the maximum component dimensions are 600 mm x 600 mm x 1,000 mm.

For painting (industrial painting), Meissner AG has its own department with special premises and specialists, whose know-how we are also happy to make available to you for your tasks. Dimensions of 2,500 mm x 2,500 mm x 2,500 mm and component weights of up to 2 tonnes are no problem.

Assembly

We are happy to support you in assembling and installing machine parts and systems. With our team of toolmakers, electricians, pneumatics and hydraulics specialists, our expertise goes far beyond conventional toolmaking. We provide you with individual and cross-industry support.

Our fitters are at your disposal for commissioning, maintenance and repair work as well as modifications and conversions. It goes without saying that we also assemble those modules and sub-assemblies that do not originate from the production of Meissner AG. Our specialist personnel work on the basis of drawings, data and circuit diagrams.

Furthermore, you have the possibility to rent our spotting press. We will also be happy to provide you with a qualified employee for this purpose.

Programming and automation

At Meissner, we are convinced that plant automation is a future driver for Germany as a business location. That’s why we work on custom-fit solutions for your individual challenges to get the best out of your processes.

Perhaps you already have very precise ideas about how your plant should be automated. You may also not yet know whether and how your task can be solved. Either way: Talk to us!

Our young team is made up of motivated employees and bright minds. With us, there is no pattern F. We examine each task individually and see it as a matter of course to also take new paths. In this way, we find solutions that you would not think possible at the moment.

Let us give you an example: There is still a widespread conviction that, when it comes to hallmarking, individual patterns are only possible by hand. With our patented surface finishing, we have achieved that a robot can do exactly that! Meissner has developed an algorithm for this, with which complicated geometries are no problem and strict specifications can be met.

You have probably already noticed that your company can no longer do without automation. In the long run, costs can no longer be covered or there is a lack of personnel for certain tasks. Then our robots are a solution.

Where vending machines still have to be emptied by hand today, one of our automated stacking systems could soon provide relief. Your employees will be physically relieved, and at the same time new tasks will arise for them.

At Meissner, you benefit not only from the expertise of our tool and mould making specialists, but also from the knowledge of our electronics engineers, mechatronics engineers and hydraulics and pneumatics specialists. We are therefore able to offer you a complete system and operate all interfaces
